Vila (Domestic long hair cat)
Date Adopted
December 1997
Story behind Adoption
This was Megan's first surgery cat that was recovered. She was
supposed to do a spay on her, but some else already had. So Megan did
an abdominal exploratory surgery instead. She cut her open and then
rooted around for a while and then sewed her back up. She got picked
out actually by Amy Bauer (see here) since she ran up to the
front of the cage that all of the surgery cats were being kept in and
looked so cute.
Story behind Name
Unfortunatley while the front of her looked very cute, and she
tricked Amy into picking her, she had almost no hair on her rear and
had a bad infestation of bugs. We decided that this meant she was a
bit of a "Fix-er up" and so we name her after Bob Vila.

WoW where did all that food come from?
Ah! the source of all the food. Yum!
She not only is the best kitty in the world but also the cutest.
When cleaning her belly she can get a buddha belly going.
She never was afraid of any old stupid dogs.
Vila passed on after a prologned battle with cancer. Here are some of the last pictures we took of her.
